CoolSculpting vs CoolTech: What’s The Difference?
Lauded as perhaps one of the safest options to banish that bulge in recent years, cryolipolysis - otherwise known as 'fat freezing' - has become increasingly popular among women across the world.
Dr Dieter Manstein and Dr R Rox Anderson of Harvard University were among the first to discover the benefits of freezing fat cells in early studies involving the freezing of fat pockets.
This meant that fat could be frozen and dissolved without damaging the surrounding tissues of the body, using procedures such as CoolSculpting or CoolTech.
Understanding fat freezing
As a non-surgical form of liposuction, fat freezing crystallises the unwanted fat cells and then lowers the temperature to ensure the cells die and are removed completely.
This quick, painless procedure has been performed by doctors and beauticians for years, and more and more women are turning towards it to lose stubborn fat.
The treatment also offers a notable advantage – it actually removes fat forever. This is because traditional weight loss methods tend to make the fat cells smaller, but fat freezing dissolves the cells altogether.
The cells will only dissolve in the treated areas, making it a great option for particular areas of stubborn fat (like your belly, arms, thighs etc).
CoolSculpting vs CoolTech
The two most popular brands for fat freezing are CoolSculpting and CoolTech. They both use fat freezing technologies and have been used during millions of procedures all over the world.
So which one should you pick? They may be more similar than you think.
CoolSculpt and CoolTech both offer the same technology. They follow almost identical methods of fat freezing, using controlled cooling to kill off the fat cells and fat loss.
However, CoolSculpting's technology is more expensive, primarily due to the machines being used, which cost more to operate than those of CoolTech's.
Both companies offer the same treatment, but CoolTech offers the same results for a more affordable price than CoolSculpt.
Whether it's flattening your tummy, toning those upper arms or banishing that pesky double chin, fat freezing is an easy and affordable way to sculpt the problem areas of your body and restore your confidence again.
Regardless of which treatment you decide to use, CoolSculpt or CoolTech could give you the body you have always dreamed of.
