So you have made up your mind to give non-surgical fat reduction a shot with the latest technique – Cooltech.  But you are anxious about your first Cooltech session – well, apprehension before the first appointment is totally natural; and is pretty common with everyone.

Understanding the concerns first timers have in regards to Cooltech treatment, we have outlined the entire process in our latest blog.

Before the process

Cooltech process initiates with a detailed consultation. You will have a one-on-one with your therapist – trained in Cooltech procedure. During this consultation, you will get to focus on the specific areas of your body from where you want to remove fat.

The therapist will ask you general questions regarding your health, past medical history, lifestyle, and eating habits to form a holistic approach for reshaping your body. It helps in drawing a customized treatment plan to effectively tear down fat and speed along your recovery.

During the process

After you and your therapist select the area(s) to be treated, the Cooltech device is positioned on your body and controlled cooling is applied. The therapist will apply a gel pad and applicator to the targeted area.

At first you may feel a deep cooling and little vacuum pressure. However, this fades away soon as the process continues. Throughout the treatment process, you may experience a slight pulling, pinching or numbness - these are generally minor sensations.

The treatment is extremely comfortable and most of our patients enjoy reading books, listening to music during the process. If you are comfortable enough, you can even work on your laptop or take a quick nap.

After the process

The Cooltech process is completely non-invasive, and has minimal downtime - which means you can get back to your everyday routine after the treatment process.

You may experience some minor side effects such as temporary numbness, redness, swelling, firmness, and tingling; these are perfectly normal and go by their own.

Results

Changes are generally seen in three weeks after the treatment – but the most effective results are seen after two months. However, the body continues to reduce treated fat cells for the next four to six months.

Cooltech results vary from person to person, and even depend on your lifestyle and diet after the Cooltech process.
